On April 28th we held our 10th HR Forum with Searchlight, at the historic and recently-reopened Regent Street Cinema in Oxford Circus. In 1896 the Lumière brothers’ Cinématographe was first presented to a paying audience here, making it the first place in Britain to show moving pictures, and the birthplace of the British film industry.

Last week saw the prestigious TV Connect convention take place at London’s ExCel centre. Casting a spotlight on some of the Connected Entertainment industry’s  most dynamic products, companies and developments, this year’s convention offered a particularly immersive experience and a tremendous range of guest speakers.
