Lumina is pleased to announce the placement of Peter Rajki as VP Europe at Motion Picture Licensing Company (MPLC), the non-theatrical copyright licensing agency representing over 900 producers and content-owners.
Peter will play a key role in the continuing growth of MPLC and will oversee the day-to-day running of the company’s diverse European territories. He’ll employ his extensive expertise in theatrical licensing to ensure business plans are achieved and new partnerships fostered.
Peter studied economics at Corvinus University, Budapest and has a Masters from University College Dublin. He began his career in the film industry in 2006, when he joined Forum Home Entertainment in Budapest as Marketing Manager. Subsequently he managed the marketing departments of several Hungarian Home Entertainment and Theatrical film distribution companies, before relocating to London in 2015 to serve as Director of Theatrical Sales and Distribution EMEA Licensees at Twentieth Century Fox.
With his wide-ranging knowledge in the film business and extensive experience across the EMEA regions, Peter has a great foundation to supply successful solutions to the challenges of non-theatrical distribution. We wish him well in his new role at MPLC, and on his relocation to Eastbourne.
